How to return your book

Three steps, all inside Amazon

  1. Open Your Orders on Amazon

    Sign in to the Amazon account you used to buy the book and go to Your Orders.

  2. Choose "Return or Replace Items"

    Find Rally Takes the Train in your order list, pick a reason, and choose a refund or a replacement copy.

  3. Drop it off or ship it back

    Amazon will offer drop-off options near you (often label-free and box-free at UPS, Whole Foods, or Kohl's) or a printable label. Your refund is issued by Amazon once the return is received.

Who sells the book

Rally Takes the Train is published through Amazon KDP and sold exclusively on Amazon.com. rallytakesthetrain.com does not process orders, take payment, or ship books. When you click "Buy on Amazon" anywhere on this site, your purchase is made with Amazon, and Amazon is the seller of record for that order.

Which return policy applies

Because Amazon is the seller, Amazon's Returns Policy applies to every copy of the book, in full and without exception. We don't operate a separate return process, and we can't accept returns, issue refunds, or exchange copies directly.

What Amazon's policy generally covers

At the time of writing, Amazon's standard policy for books and most physical items includes:

  • A return window of 30 days from the date of delivery for most items (longer during the holiday season).
  • Items should be returned in the condition you received them. A book that arrived damaged, misprinted, or not as described qualifies for a refund or replacement.
  • Refunds are issued by Amazon to your original payment method, typically within a few business days after the return is received.
  • Return shipping is free for most eligible reasons, including damage or a seller error; Amazon may deduct a return shipping fee for some reasons such as a change of mind.

These details are Amazon's and can change. The policy shown in your Amazon account at the time you request a return is the one that applies to your order.

If you received the book as a gift, you can return it through Amazon's gift returns process using the order number or the gift receipt. See Amazon's gift returns help.

Something wrong with your copy?

Please start your return or replacement with Amazon first, since only Amazon can refund or reship your order. We still want to know if a copy reached you damaged or with a printing problem, so we can raise it with the printer. Email us at kelseylcecil@gmail.com with your order number and a photo.
