Raconte-moi Noël invites children and their families to discover the Christmas traditions and tales of Quebec that have been handed down from one generation to the next. The exhibit looks at the holiday customs of earlier times and the stories that fed the imagination of Quebec families.
It is a calm, free outing in a historic mill in the Trait-Carré of Charlesbourg, and a good way to pair some local heritage with the holiday season. The exhibit runs from November 4 to December 18 during the Moulin's opening hours. The Moulin also runs holiday activities for families through December, including a felt ornament workshop, a Christmas movie day and a torchlight walk with Santa.
Parent tip: Combine a visit with one of the Moulin's December family activities, such as the Christmas movie day or the torchlight walk.

A few days before Christmas, a shaggy, cranky Mononcle sees his precious peace disturbed by the arrival of the little cousins, unstoppable creatures whose enthusiasm sweeps away everything in its path. Left to roam free in the living room by their parents, Léo, Raffi and Billy give the poor grump no rest and pull him into their games.
The show by BOP blends music and theatre and lasts 45 minutes. It is aimed at children aged 6 to 12 and plays three Sundays in December at La Caserne in Old Quebec. Single tickets are $26. The theatre marks some performances with accessibility options such as relaxed or sensory-adapted shows, so check the schedule.

Along the way there is festive entertainment, a visit from Santa Claus and hot chocolate to warm everyone up. Departures are staggered every 15 minutes from 4:30 to 6:30 pm, which keeps groups small. The event is free, with tickets reserved through the Moulin's online ticketing. It is organized by the Moulin des Jésuites as part of Noël au Trait-Carré.
Parent tip: Parking is not allowed on Trait-Carré Est and Ouest; park at the Paul-Aimé-Paiement library or nearby streets, or take the bus to the Charlesbourg terminal.

Père Nicolas Noël returns with a brand new festive musical, joined by his faithful elves Pamalin and Trémaline. This time a freshly graduated elf from the École des Lutins arrives with a bold idea: modernize Christmas, with delivery drones instead of reindeer and video calls instead of visits with Santa.
Will the magic of Christmas give way to artificial intelligence? Torn between tradition and new technology, Santa has to use all his wisdom to protect the Great Magic Night. The show is nominated at the 2026 ADISQ gala in the youth album category and is suggested for ages 3 to 10.
Parent tip: The theatre showed fewer than 50 tickets left for Saturday and fewer than 100 for Sunday when checked, so book soon.
