Sanctuary Cove, with Ray White Sanctuary Cove, marks the start of the festive season with Santa's Arrival Parade, which includes the much-loved Rotary Hope Island Buggy Parade. Creatively decorated buggies make their way through the village, joined by cheerful costumed characters spreading some holiday magic.

After the parade there is a Santa Show, and a sausage sizzle raises funds for Rotary Hope Island. Watching the parade is free, while there is a cost for anyone who wants to enter a buggy, with a prize for the best decorated entry. Being a morning event, it is a good fit for families with toddlers and preschoolers who are not up for a late evening carols night, and Sanctuary Cove's cafes are close by.
